Nest Location Description: nest has been used for years,presumably the same pair nest has been observed every day for at least 15 minutes. On May 29 I saw two little heads bobbing up - two hatchlings. One adult always stays with the chicks, while the other one provides the food.

The chicks developed rapidly, were fed frequently and except for one, they all fledged. see picture of a youngster in the cypress and one still on the platform

The nestlings have been growing rapidly. I know they started with Three, however lately I have only been seeing two. One of them is clearly bigger and is constantly trying his wings. See pictures

The nest has been observed daily. About a week ago (June 3) started seeing the hatchlings. I could only see two, however, yesterday I observed three being fed. See picture

the nest had been destroyed during a storm and was re-built from scratch. The nest has been observed weekly. Nesting material is being regularly added.

they arrived march 10/2013 and started re-building their nest on the platform. The nest had been largely destroyed by the winter storm. They are still bringing in sticks.
