The female was about ten feet from the nest, the male flew in a few minutes after I arrived and sat in a tree nearby watching.
In this nest it was a slow start but finally there was some incubation occurring. The female was incubating while the male was perched close by keeping an eye out.
Adults arrived January 2013. Incubation began during February 2013.
This is the northernmost of three active nests on the peninsula.
