first visit in a couple of weeks and first visit since hurricane Dorian. 1 juvenal observed on the nest platform in the afternoon. nest appears to be in good shape since the storm.

no birds initially at the nest, 1 fledgling perched on a power pole saw me then flew to the nest, another ospr was flying around but I could not tell if it was the other fledgling, it flew out of view

1st morning visit there were no birds observed on the nest, the next pole down the line has an inactive ospr nest on it (nest#7194) & there were at times 2 adults & an unknown on the nest, the adults were chasing each other on & off the nest, but the unknown did not fly; came back an hour later & found that the nest was occupied with an adult & 1 nestling, the nestling was feeding itself, other nestling may have fledged?

osprey on nest, new nesting material
Observed one Osprey in nest one still bringing nesting material - a very large branch.
One Osprey observed on edge of nest.
Observed that Ospreys had moved from 2624 to utility pole 2548. Observed large nest with one Osprey in nest one Osprey perched on support of U-pole.
Nest was removed from telephone pole after nesting season last year.
4/2/13 - Nest was removed from utility pole to encourage Osprey's to use platforms.
