Nesting Diaries

The male osprey returned last week, and the female has arrived. They are adding twigs to their nest.

The nesting was successful this year, despite the missing board. No eagles got the young this year. We enjoy watching the parents teach the young to fish.

During the winter 2019, a board fell from the platform, and the nest fell into the creek. One adult has arrived as of 3/17/19. Comes and sits on the platform, then leaves. No dropping of sticks, or attempts to remake the nest.
