Platform cleared off - no nest present. Male osprey perched on sports field fence at school (~500 yards away).
One osprey perched on side of nest. Nest looks the same.

Male was seen sitting on the platform perch, nest remains small. No sighting of female or hatchlings.

Nest remains very small, with only scarce sticks seen sticking out from the platform. One adult (gender unknown) was seen at the nest feeding hatchlings.
nest had been expanded slightly, visible Spanish moss hanging from the nest. Female was seen at nest feeding hatchlings, while male sat at a nearby branch.
Very little nesting material, one female osprey spotted at a post nearby the nest, with the male at the nest. The pair switched positions without either very willing to fly far from nest. Possible indication of eggs/nestlings.
No debris under nest, no activity seen. No ospreys spotted, but nest remains small and in tact. No droppings seen anywhere near the nest.
Nest has become more built since last observation. Both a male and female were present inside the nest, the actions of the female and the position she sat in made me believe that she is incubating eggs. Male came in and out of nest with materials, while female did not move. (Correction from last diary: the nesting platform is a wooden pole with a metal dish, not wood.)

The was one male and female on the nest
One male osprey was perched nearby the nest. No chicks were spotted.
Today I observed (3) juvenile osprys sitting up in the nest. They seemed to be pecking around the nest, very active.

Today I observed a male osprey perched on pole above nest platform. Juvenile osprey was sitting down in nest. After a few minutes male oprey flew down to nest.

This was my first time visiting this nest platform. Male perched up on taller platform. Male circled nest landing back on platform. This nest seemed very small, not many sticks.
Today was the first time I found this nest. It was very hard to see the actual nest because the platform that it is on is very large and the nest is very small. There was a male osprey occupying the nest. It made eye contact with me then flew in a circle and then perched on the pole that stuck atop the nest.
The nest isn't much bigger than it was last week. Today only the female could be found sitting outside the nest. This pair of ospreys seems to be far behind in the mating process.
The female and male Osprey from before were sitting just outside their nest perched on the wooden post. Their nest appears to be bigger, but the nest is still relatively small.
Platform was just put up. There appeared to be a small nest in the midst of being built. I observed two Ospreys, one male and one female perched on the wooden post next to the nest. About five minutes later the male moved over onto the nest.
