The Osprey arrived in the afternoon, nest construction is under way

Not sure why the nest failed, up until a few weeks ago they were still sitting on the nest, then they quit sitting, the nest did get some damage but until I can get up to look at the nest I don't know the exact reason.

On April 9th,2013 the male Osprey returned and a few days later the female, this has been the same for the past three years, George and Grace were the names given to them when they first showed up years ago.

This week I noticed the the 2 female offspring fighting over a fish, today (July 27,2012) I was trying to get some photos of the two and they flew with mom and dad for quite some time, a friend told me thy had been flying for a few days, I have been at all except these two for there first flights. in the past week I have noticed the Gracie is more active when I go near this leeds me to believe that the nest has nestling, since we can not see into the nest it will take two to three weeks before we see chicks walking around or popping up to be seen

I went over to the wetlands this morning to photograph the Osprey and noticed that Gracie(the female) had just had a fish dropped of by George and was feed two off spring.
