One osprey observed on tower today

Sad news today. One nestling/fledgling found dead on the ground not far from the nest. No ospreys in nest.

Osprey observed carrying nest material to this nest.

One of the ospreys brought a rahter large evergreen branch to the nest. Fun watching them try to arrange it so its just right.

Not sure yet how many nestlings, but there appears to be at least one

First time observing this nest today. The male returned from the north while I was here, attempted to land on nest but the female didn't want to leave. The male flew off to the south.
