6/18 One adult in the nest with what appears to be 2 downy chicks.
5/30 a local heavy rain hit the site, but one adult observed very low in the nest well.
05/06/19 One bird very low in nest, in incubation posture.
3/30/19 A lone bird was perched above the nest.
4/7/19 Two birds were in the nest.
5/14/18 One adult in the nest, one perched beside the nest.
4/12/18 Observed an adult landing on the nest.
4/16/18 One adult in the nest.
6/29/17 One adult observed low in nest.
7/11/17 Adult on on edge of nest, possibly feeding young. Cannot see to tell if young are present.
7/19/17 No activity at nest, appears abandoned. Dates suggest at least one fledged before 7/11/17..
4/11/17 This nest was blown off the tree.
5/2/17 The nest has been rebuilt on the same limb.
5/8/17 One adult in the nest, one alongside the nest.
5/19/17 One low in nest, incubating posture.
6/2/17 Hard to see if one is in nest in low posture, but one seen flying in area.
7/19/16 Two fully feathered young on edge of nest.
7/12/16 One adult feeding two young.
7/6/16 One fully feathered chick on edge of nest. No adults seen in the area.
6/29/16 One adult appears to be attending to at least one young in the nest. Very hard to see into the nest.
6/8/16 One adult deep into the nest, very windy.

4/20/16 One adult in the nest, one perched on top of the snag.
April 11, two birds were observed at thje nest.
05/13/15 Cold, windy and raining. One observed very low in nest, possibly incubating.
04/29/15 Pair observed at the nest.

This new nest is, I believe, being built by the same pair that had occupied Nest #1069, the first nest I had observed here many years ago, before this survey began. #1069 blew down over the winter. It does not appear to be completed, but one bird was perched on the edge of what nest they had.
