This pair of osprey have been trying to build a nest in the sink on the River Club dock. The sink has been covered with wire and the pair is looking. Eric from Southern Tree came today to climb the tree and clear away some branches to allow better access to the nest. Sticks and wrack also were placed in the dish. The (sink) pair have been checking things out. Stay tuned.

The dish was installed in the pine tree on March 12, 2017 - near the original telephone pole and dish that was destroyed by Hurricane Matthew. Two osprey have been observed perching below the dish but no indication of occupation or nest building at this point.
