Photos of this nest
One of the fledglings brought a fish back to the nest.
All the nestlings have fledged.
One, possibly two of the nestlings have fledged.
While I was taking these photos there appeared to be one adult on the nest with the two chicks, and one adult perched on a light pole across the street, seen in this photo. I have previously reported that 2 chicks have been observed at this nest. Shortly after the above photos were taken, a fourth head appeared in the nest. So who is the adult perched across the street? I may have missed a third chick. Another possibility is it's one of the Patterson St. NW ospreys, who did not have any chicks this year.
Thee adult ospreys seen circling in the vicinity of the nest.
Two chicks observed in the nest.
