Restricted access area. In tall pine on northern bank of Intracoastal Waterway (Elizabeth River Southern Branch) at The Preserve on the Elizabeth, and not far from Bells Mill Park. Thanks to the kind folks at CFM, the HOA Board here, and HOA Board member Steve Arrendale in particular, for alerting me to the nest and its location.

Tree by canal. Nest is very close to UD-2 nest platform by the monument. I have observed osprey in the tree all season and thought they were perched there from other nests. Some foliage has dropped and I clearly see the nest now. One osprey is often perched there. No idea if any hatchlings this year.

This appears to be a first year nest located straddled across the cross arms of a power pole that also has two transformers attached. The power pole is directly below the dam creating Weber Reservoir, and only a few feet north of the Walker River as it leaves the reservoir. This is on the Walker River Paiute Reservation.
