Newer nest observed over the past two years on the cross beams of a large power line and located approximately 1.5 miles north of nest #1569 and at about mile 135.5 of Rte.#95. Could it be offspring of nest #1569? Nest occupied!

Rte. 95 in Clinton, Maine north of the Rte. 138 exit, just beyond Hill Road overpass heading north, right side. Three large power line poles stand side by each. The nest sits directly on top of the pole on the right side and looks to be about 8-10" deep. An osprey was observed on the nest on April 7, 2013. First I have seen this spring.

Located on the River Road in Benton, Maine and has been at that location for at least five years with a short flight to the Shawmut Dam on the Kennebec River (Dam not identified on the map). Nest is near 2 foot in height or thickness and power line is in the middle of a large field. See osprey annually but not before March usually.

Located on a large power line in the divided highway section of Rte#1 (Leeman Hwy.) on the southern end of the city of Bath, ME. Clear and visible to both north and southern directed traffic, at the base of the hill entering Bath when heading north. Nest has been present for possibly a decade and osprey seen each year. The Kennebec River is near by as well as large bodies of tidal inlets. Traffic is rather heavy below and near the nest. Most folks in the city of Bath know the nest quite well and report its activity.

Nest is on a power line post which crosses the highway on the southern lane just north of most northern Augusta exit at Rte. #3. Has been at this location for at least 5 years. Nest had been damaged from high winds and rebuilt. Kennebec River and several large ponds near by.
