Southeast from the original nest on Berry's Creek that was taken over by Eagles. Originally found by Chris T. The nest is in a difficult place to monitor
The Bald Eagles that displaced the Osprey pair last year, resulting in this new Ospry nest, have now moved to this platform. The Ospreus are back in thier old nest.
I finally got to visit this nest today. It is a very skimpy nest which is not surprising considering how late they finally got started. The female was incubating and got up to relieve herself. the male joined her at the nest.
this pair built a nest a few poles down on live wires which had to be remover. PSEG built a better platform and the pair re-nested where the nest blew down. I have yet to get out there to see for myself.
